Gordon Zola is a well known & loved, all-round entertainer who has been performing  around the country and beyond for over 12 years. He is based in Manchester, England.

He's a Performance Poet, Comedian, Compére, Writer and freelance journalist. He also provides workshops in various aspects of writing and performing and has been particularly successful working with children and deprived young adults.

It's the last Wednesday each month and is a night of music, poetry, comedy, spoken word at Prestwich's première wine bar, Cuckoo 395-397 Bury New Road, M25 1AW Prestwich.
Doors 7.30pm for an 8pm prompt start.

On a day not unlike today, in a distant galaxy, a rocket ship blasted off from a doomed planet; hurtled through the Milky Way, past Mars and lots of other well-known chocolates, before crash landing on earth.

Once in a lifetime someone destined to change the face of poetry comes along. Someone who could combine Oscar Wilde's wit and repartee with the story telling ability of Tolkien. Unfortunately he was on the rocket ship that crash-landed on earth - and didn't survive the impact...
